Modernfamilies is the global leader in smart social systems in the context of modern families with a pending patent on a unique algorithm that establishes the relevant persons for any person in question given a database of primary relationships.

Ambient device integration

Modernfamilies cooperates with Fachhochschule Hagenberg on the integration of ambient devices and smart social networks by sponsoring a thesis to develop a functional prototype.

Modernfamilies has joined a leading European research consortium with the aim to significantly enhance the living conditions of elderldy through ICT. Our project will combine the intelligence of Modernfamilies' smart social network with ambient devices and cutting-edge research on the visual recognition of humans and their expressions.

The project, titled "AGNES", has received very good reviews by the EU commissions panel and is due to commence early 2009.

Andreas Kreiner has issued a white paper titled "Decoding the social code" which was accepted by the CSCW 2008 in San Diego in its proceedings. The paper outlines the innovative insight into social networks in families and how it captures the semantics of those relationships and applies them to a smart social network. The main benefits and use cases are touched upon as well.
